Mark began his health care career in 1991 as a principal with Heritage Information Systems, Inc. a start-up which grew into the industry leader in applied pharmacy and population health analytics. Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS) acquired Heritage in 2004 and Mark spent the next seven years operating and rolling up Heritage with several strategic acquisitions, building to $67M in annual revenue with a team of 600 professionals in ten offices when ACS was acquired by Xerox. Mark spent the next two years as Chief Innovation Officer for Xerox Government Healthcare, setting ACS-centric corporate direction in new product development and strategic partnerships.
In 2011, Mark founded Salus, a consultancy dedicated to product development, business development, and management consulting for population health, health analytics and Health IT firms. Mark is a graduate of the University of Vermont, and lives in Richmond Virginia with his wife and two teenage daughters.
